Welcome to the Green Mountain Girls Jr. Basketball website.  Using the links to the right, you will be able to find information on tryouts for the 20087/09 season, time commitments, expectations, and more.

Although we are not officially connected with Green Mountain High School, we do work closely with the girls coaching staff.

Our goal is to prepare the girls to play for Green Mountain high school.  We do this by emphasizing fundamentals and playing in the Gold Crown League, the highest-level high school feeder basketball league available.

While we offer basketball opportunities throughout the year, our major focus is from the beginning of November through the first week in March.  Some teams will play in a fall league during September and October.  During November and December, we play in tournaments in preparation for the Gold Crown League season, which runs from the first weekend after New Years Day through the first week in March.  In addition, if enough girls are interested, spring leagues are available.
